TOBIAS ALEXANDER RATKA

Tobias Alexander Ratka is a composer for Film and Television, based in Vienna. At only 19 years old, he was hired to compose the title music for the highly acclaimed documentary franchise „Universum“ by the Austrian National Broadcaster (ORF). Since then, he has built a reputation of being one of Austria’s up-and-coming composers and music producers.

Tobias has composed the music for countless television projects for international networks, such as ARTE, ZDF, NDR, and more. He has scored several feature films with national- and international theatrical releases, his most recent one „Hades - Eine (fast) wahre Geschichte“ (distr. by Constantin Film Austria) gaining over 10 Million views on Netflix.

His upcoming projects are the remake of the international classic „Kommissar Rex“ and the TV series „Black Gold“ where he has contributed to the original score which has been composed by none lesser than Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman.
