As of 2021, they have taken on the role of curators for the Virtuosen Varieté concert series at Tonhalle Düsseldorf. These concerts feature incredibly talented musicians from around the globe, showcasing their exceptional skills and music that may not typically be heard in traditional settings.
Individually, Aleksey Igudesman has worked with Academy®Award-winning Hollywood film music composer, Hans Zimmer, and Hyung-ki Joo was commissioned by Grammy®Award-winning songwriter, Billy Joel, to arrange and record his solo piano compositions for Joel’s official final album to date.
With over 50 million views on YouTube, it's clear that Igudesman & Joo’s infectious zaniness and virtuosity have captured the hearts of a vast audience. Their mix of musical talent and playful silliness has made them a sensation online and internationally. From concert halls to stadiums, their energy has even attracted a younger audience to classical music.
